I'm here to walk alongside you through life's twists and turns, whether you're battling anxiety, wrestling with depression, navigating the aftermath of trauma, or finding your way through the joys and challenges of parenthood.
In my cozy, judgment-free space, it's all about you. I believe in a personalized approach that's tailored to fit your unique needs and goals. From Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to mindfulness practices, from Emotionally Focused Therapy to Trauma-Informed Care, I've got a toolkit full of techniques to help you thrive.
But here's the thing: I'm not just here to listen. I'm here to understand—because I believe that our early experiences shape who we are, influencing the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. It's all about those deep-rooted connections, those threads that tie us together.
And guess what? Your comfort is key. Whether you prefer face-to-face sessions or the convenience of teletherapy, I've got you covered. Plus, as a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I'm here to support you in English or Spanish—whatever feels right for you.

Rates and Insurance:
I don't accept insurance, but I work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link: https://app.mentaya.com/register?p=5bav1rIYU2MWgTicV7Ut
You can also use the tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services. Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.
My fee for individual, family, or couples therapy is $250 per 45-50 minute session. Longer sessions are available upon request. I accept cash, check, and most major credit cards as payment. I also offer some sliding scale slots for new moms and dads, depending on your financial needs, as I know this time can be full of financial stressors. Additionally, I am a firm believer that anyone seeking therapy should be able to access it with minimal barriers, therefore I am happy to help connect you to a therapist that meet your financial needs if I am unable to. Please reach out for more information on this and to see my availability for sliding scale.
And if for whatever reason I am not the right therapist for you, I am happy to help you locate a therapist that better fits your needs (i.e. is in network with your insurance, can meet your financial needs better, has a specialization that meets what you are looking for, etc.).
Please contact me with any questions!
Hey there, I'm Alex, and I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and growth.
With offices in Westlake Village and Ventura, CA, I've been on this path for quite a while. I earned my Masters in Social Work from USC back in 2012 and became a licensed therapist in 2015.
But let me tell you, my journey didn't start there.
You see, I was raised right here in Thousand Oaks, and this community holds a special place in my heart. It's where I learned the importance of giving back, and it's why I'm so passionate about supporting individuals and families right here in the Conejo Valley.
Before diving into private practice, I wore many hats—working in community mental health, local schools, and treatment programs, helping kids and families navigate life's ups and downs. And let me tell you, it's been quite the ride.
As a mom myself, still trying to figure it all out, I've got a soft spot for moms facing their own set of challenges. From those trying to conceive to folks transitioning into the wild world of parenthood, I've got your back.
Like many of you, I've faced my own challenges as a teen and young adult too. And it's those experiences—both personal and professional—that I bring to the table as we work towards healing and growth together.
I'm proud to be an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I'm passionate about fighting for social justice and the dignity of every individual. In our sessions, I believe in working collaboratively, because you, my friend, are the expert in your own life.
And hey, if humor, warmth, and a direct approach are your style, I've got you covered. So, to all of you who've taken that brave step to reach out for support, I see you. And I can't wait to connect with you soon.
